Deacon and Deaconess
In this ministry, we are God’s attendants, His servants called upon to serve. We believe strongly in the spiritual health of people. We work closely with our Pastor and church leaders to help develop, deploy devoted disciples to advance our Lord’s Kingdom.
We are a compassionate team, saved by God’s grace. It is wonderful to be saved, that’s why we encourage and support others seeking God’s grace by holding true to faith with a clear conscience as Paul states in
1 Timothy 3:9
Hospitality Ministry
Our hospitality Ministry ensures that our members and visitors are warmly welcomed preparing the way for an enriching and rewarding worship experience.
Media Ministry
The media ministry provides quality audio/visual communication utilizing current technologies.
Outreach Ministry
The WDCG Outreach Ministry comprises Food Pantry distribution, Nursing Home visitation, Hospital visitation and Community Outreach Day. Our Food Pantry distributes food bi-monthly to Families in our immediate and surrounding communities and is a participant in the Long Island Cares food distribution program and Island Harvest.
Our Visitation Team is a source of comfort and care to those who reside in our local care facilities. Through regularly scheduled visits and tangible expressions of love, many life changing and lasting relationships have been formed.

I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me,

Praise and Worship Ministry
Our Praise and Worship team stands firm on our beliefs that God is worthy to be praised. As God’s musical team, we lead and engage our congregation in worshipping and praising with traditional hymns, choruses and contemporary songs.
In this ministry we have an unquestionable love and devotion to ushering the presence of God at every service through music and singing. We are faithful to our call and we come to each service with the spirit of worship and thanksgiving cultivated at our church because worship is our response to God’s extravagant grace.
Scholarship Ministry
The Westbury Divine Scholarship Fund has been established in the memory of Horace Embden and Dorian Varcianna. Our graduating high school seniors are encouraged and empowered to pursue higher education so that their God given potential can be realized.
Ushers Ministry
Ushers reflect a Christian attitude and spirit of the church. We promote the knowledge of the church doctrine as we support scheduled services and special activities. As Ushers we maintain reverence and order to help everyone feel at home in a prayerful atmosphere and exemplify courtesy, hospitality and humility in the house of God.
